What is Ebates?
I know, I know. You’re probably wondering what the heck this is. Ebates is an online tool that helps you earn cash back on purchases you’re already making. Below is a quote from their website:

How to earn cash back
First, you’ll need to sign up for the program, you can do that here. All you need to sign up is an email address and password.
After your account has been set up, you’ll go to their website to find the store you want to shop at. You can use the search bar at the top of the page to search for a particular company or select their all stores category to browse all the stores that participate.
When you find the store you want to shop at, select the Shop Now button. Next, Ebates will direct you to that website. Shop like you normally do. They track your purchase and award you cash back those purchases.
Ebates offers two options when it comes to payment, you can either receive a check by mail or have them deposit it directly into your Paypal account if you have one.

There is not a fee to join or a monthly membership fee to earn great deals.
& you can combine coupon codes and promotions with your cash back to get an even better deal on your purchase. Ebates even shares tips on how to save money that you might not know about the store you’re shopping at. When you go to the stores Ebates page, just look in the left sidebar.
When you find a store you want to shop at, there will be an icon like this that will tell you how much you’re going to earn.
During holiday or big sale weekends they usually will run double cashback sales. These are just some of the double cash back offered on the weekend I was writing this.

My favorite ways to use Ebates
I love using Ebates when I’m shopping for clothes, shoes or even groceries. I use Walmart’s grocery pick up to shop online then pick up my groceries at a time convenient to me.
You can save money on travel by booking hotels through Ebates. This will come in handy when planning that yearly family vacation.
By far, my favorite way to use Ebates is on my all of my holiday shopping. I come from a big family, & I try to at least get a little something for all of the kids. By using Ebates I get to get great deals and miss out on those holiday shopping crowds.
